1.What can I do as a buyer at SECU?
As a buyer your main goal is to source specific products. SECU provides practical and easy-to-use tools to help you find quality products and qualified suppliers.
We recommend that you first post a new Trade Lead in SECU's Trade Leads feature. Your trade leads will be listed in the New Trade Leads section, according to your sourced product's specific industry.
SECU marketplace also allows you to locate potential trading partners and to display your own company's basic information in SECU Company List.
Once accustomed with a few basic features of SECU marketplace, you will find our Trade Show environment a valuable tool to streamline your ongoing day-to-day procurement needs.

2.What can I do as a seller at SECU?
Post Trade Leads
First start off by posting a trade lead, and getting your product info listed in the New Trade Leads section. The Trade Leads feature is at the center of the SECU marketplace, and home to loads of great business opportunities posted daily from SECU members all over the world.

Create Product Catalog
If you want to sell your products, you have to get them seen by potential customers. SECU offers an attractive display space for you to exhibit your products.

Get Your Company Listed
SECU provides detailed listings for businesses to extend their promotional reach. Here you can list basic information about your company, to allow potential partners to briefly get to know your product and service background.

3.How to attract more potential buyers?
Lack of response to your posted info could be attributed to a few factors. Check out a few of the following recommendations to improve your feedback on SECU.
1. Your posted information may lack depth and details. Buyers might need more detailed product information than what you have posted.
2. Regularly update your posted trade leads and product listings.
3. Emphasize your product promotion with Banner Ads and Weekly Specials.
4. Trust brings more business opportunities! Subscribe to SECU TrustPass.
5. Submit your product catalog and company profile URLs at SECU to popular search engines such as Yahoo and Google to gain maximum online exposure.

4. I want buyer information
To find certain suppliers/buyers on en.SECU.com.cn, please:
-- Go to our home page at http://en.SECU.com.cn
-- Check "Trade Leads" to search for the business information, check "Product" to search for the product picture, check "Companies" to search for the company profiles of SECU members;
-- Specify a product keyword in the search box and set "Trade Lead Type" as Seller/Buyer;
-- Specify the country as you like;
-- Click on "SEARCH".
You can also get into the certain category to search your interested information or try "advanced search" to specify it.
The search result will be listed on the screen and you can get the contact information of the certain traders by signing in your member ID and password.
Furthermore, you are suggested to post your offer to attract the buyers by the following steps:
1) Sign in with your ID and password at My SECU;
2) Click "Post A New Trade Leads" in Trade Leads section;
3) Click the main industry corresponding to your products;
4) Fill out the form and submit it. * means required information.

5.Why was my member ID not accepted during the registration process?
There are a few possible reasons:
1. The member ID has already been taken
2. The ID you chose failed in containing 4-20 characters (choose from A-Z, a-z, 0-9, no spaces).

6.Why was my password not accepted during the registration process?
Your password failed in containing contain 4-20 characters (choose from A-Z, a-z, 0-9, no spaces).

7.Why can't I sign in to SECU?
If you can't sign in, it might be because of one of the following reasons:
1. If you see the error message, "Invalid Password", try signing in again.
Please make sure you've entered the correct member ID and password.
Also, your password is case sensitive, so make sure your "Caps Lock" key is set correctly.
2. If you see the error message, "Cookie Error", you might need to reset your Internet browser settings. Click here for more info on resetting your browser.
3. Unknown server errors, and Internet traffic problems might also affect signing in. Wait a few minutes, and try again later.

8.What can I do if I forget my Password?
1) If you forget your password, click on the "Forget Password?" link in the Sign-In box.
2) You will be requested to answer your secret question that you specified during registration.
3) Once you answer correctly, a random password will be generated for you.
We recommend that you select a new password and update it as soon as possible.

9.How to change my password at SECU?
1) Go to My SECU, and sign in.
2) Go to "My Account" and select the "Update My Password" link.
3) Follow the detailed instructions.
4) To confirm that your change was successful, try signing in again.

10.How to update my member information at SECU?
1) Go to My SECU, and sign in.
2) Go to My Account, and select "Edit My Member Information"
3) Update your information, and submit.

11.What is "the session has expired"?
As an extra added measure of security, if you have been away from SECU services for a period of time, you may be requested to sign in once more. To continue, just sign in and keep working.

14.How to become a member of SECU?
To register a member of SECU, please:
1. Go to http://en.secu.com.cn/member/reg.asp;
2. Choose either kind of memberships and fill out the form;
3. Follow the instructions and you will be informed by a system e-mail once succeed.
4. Please make sure that all the columns marked with "*" are requested to fill out.

15.A cookie error?
A cookie error can be caused by inappropriate cookie setting of your broswer. Please take the following steps to have a check:
1.Internet Explorer 5
Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
Click the Security tab.
Click the Internet zone.
Select a security level other than High.
-or-
Click Custom Level, scroll to the Cookies section, and then click Enable for both cookie options.
2.Internet Explorer 4.x
Click View, and then click Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab.
Scroll to the Security section.
Under Cookies, click Always accept cookies.
3.Netscape Communicator 4.X
Click Edit, and then choose preferences.
Click Advanced on the left.
Check "Accept All Cookies" on the right.

16.How to modify member information?
To modify your member information, please:
1. Go to http://en.SECU.com.cn/member;
2. Click "Edit My Member Information" at "My Account";
3. Make necessary change on the form;
4. Click on "Ok" to save the settings.

17.Can I change my member ID?
A member ID cannot be changed once it is registered. However, if you would like to pick another one, please mail your current member ID and password to our customer service. We will help you cancel this member ID and you can then register a new one.

18.How to know if my trade lead has been sent successfully?
Once you have filled in and sent your trade lead, you will see a confirmation. Your trade lead will be verified by our Customer Service Center, and SECU will notify you by e-mail to confirm that it has been published.

19.How long does it take to post my trade lead on SECU after I have submitted it?
After our Customer Service Center has verified your trade lead, it will be published within 24 hours, or one working day.
